The 60mm Spanner for Plastic Jerry Cans is designed to make sure that the plastic caps and the “O” Ring seal engage properly onto the Jerry Can.
This is vital when storing volatile fuel that will expand as it get hotter. Critical when the jerry can is carried inside the vehicle. Not only are fumes a health hazard but are pose a fire risk.
With the added leverage of the spanner it can incredibly tight seal to prevent escape of fumes or leaking of water and prevent tampering.
The opposite end of the Spanner has a “T” section used for sealing and opening of 220liter drums with a recessed cap.
