I have too many wheels in my garage and since I bought the 1200 GSA, this bike is not going to get the attention it deserves.
The bike has done 4402k's only. It is a 1998 model and I have had it for all the time but the first 6 months after it was sold as new. I think it had about 800k's when I bought it. It has always slept in my garage and I took it on little runs here and there. The only 2 trips (less than 100 k's each) were in the Drakensberg - Sani and the underberg area. It still has the original tyres and sprockets. Oh, by the way, the baffle never arrived with the silencer!
To my knowledge the bike is mechanically in good shape and has had 2 or 3 services over time. That was really an oil, filter and sparkplug change. The only hassle I have had was a gearbox oil leak which was repaired (I was told that bike must run often!!) and a clocked up fuel tap.
It is street legal. So the bike has papers and is licenced - no arrears.
It is available in Lonehill Fourways. Please be quick, I am in agony about my decision.
The kilos are low, the bike is good nick - price R25 000.
