I bought a 15t FritzCo front sprocket for my scoot. Only once I had it did I realise that the bike had a 43t rear sprocket as opposed to std 45t....no wonder the bike felt over-geared.

CORRECTION - I JUST CHECKED NOW, FKT, IT'S A 46t ON THE REAR....SO IGNORE THE BELOW....if I still want it geared lower a 14t front will be the way to go....sorreee....grey moment.

Ultimately I would have wanted a ratio of 14 - 45

So what do I do now?

Spend another R800 or whatever and get a 14t Fritzco.....but my gearing still won't be where I wanted it to be. Better but not much different to std.

Get a 48t rear sprocket...ratio same as 14-45....but I've read reports of guys complaining that this bigger rear sprocket is detrimental to the chain slider.

Any suggestions/ideas?
