After having to move my wheel back to tighten the chain after every couple of rides, as well as take a link out of the chain when I couldn't get the wheel back any further, I decided it was time for new chain and sprockets.
Currently my bike has a 14 front and a 47 rear sprocket. I am quite happy with thais gearing, pulls nicely in top gear from about 40km/h. I saw that standard sprockets for this bike is 14 and 48, so this is what I bought. Will this be too highly geared for normal dual sport usage? I don't do much long distance tar riding, but inevitably we do end up doing 20 - 30 km tar on the way back from a ride.
What sprocket combo's do you guys run on your R's?
Was thinking of getting an extra 16 front that I could put on when I know I'm doing a longer trip, like the Bash for instance.
