I became part of this forum when I read the RR that Strompie wrote of his Java tour a couple of years ago.
This time Java 2 is on the cards and I decided I want to join Strompie.... but with a difference.
He is flying down to George and will get Strompie the bike there and will then do some riding in that area. From there he will go to Cape Town to meet up with his wife for Valentines day and then will head back to Pretoria after that.
So I want to ride from Polokwane to George and then meet up with him and do the trip from there. So my question to you: Without overdoing the km/day what would be the best and quickest non highway route to do from Polokwane to George. How many days will I need?
I am taking my tent and sleeping bag so I shall look for camping sites to sleep over.
