Zomba and Mulanje in Malawi - need feedback

I am travelling through Africa up east coast this June - August, as far as Freudenstadt in Germany. I am trying to plan as well as I can as far as Nairobi, thereafter it is take it as it comes.

I need opinions on Camp Lujeri camp site at the tea estate in Mulanje as well as the camp site at the trout farm on the Zomba plateau - both in Malawi. Are they open, are there better options for camping in these areas.
