so ,a few guys wanted to meet up and ride linksfield, i had reported on linksfield during the past week, telling fellow riders not to go there without knobblies`s.
i could bore you with tales of mud, water and spectacular falls, however, its well known that a picture says a thousand words.
so here is a few thousand...........
please allocate appropiate scores for best dive................

Ya you bugger.
Lucky for you no one had their camera out when you went down hey ;D

SillyStunt being the perfect Wild Dog. He leads us into trouble and then wips out the camera and shoots and laughs and shoots and laughs.
At least he got the XT kick started again after we all had a go. Praise Allah for the happy button!!!

EssBee you gave to get that pic from SS and have it framed and put up in the bar! Brilliant

And knobblies meant nothing! The only guy to go straight through no problem was ONZ on his XT660 with Tourances

And the day didn't end there.
Calverts, another river crossing(EssBee didn't learn his lesson ), a muddy marsh and finally a pissed off Rinkhals.

A great ride and we were home by 11:00 Thanks to SillyStunt, EssBee, ONZ and Dewald

I see some leg stretching exercises were the order of the day!

Lekker pics there!  8)

Aquatic ??? What are you doing and spinning that back wheel on the slippery rocks ??? That is not a Dyno machine :peepwall:

Thanks guyz for an......interesting eventful morning. Man, I was giggling to myself like a frikkin maniac riding home!

My wife said she could hear us from home....the loud tuetonic thumpers! The Yammies were far too quiet.

This is the highest point of this area, next to the N3 close to Modderfontein Road. We're standing on top of a derelict water resivour.

ps SS, what's it worth to you to remove that pic?!?!?! I'm embaressed! You missed a little more fun after you left...when we descended under the N3 in that culvert tunnel.

pps Aquatic...how far did you follow those pylons going home....I should have tagged along.

.taking a dive in front of your mates is all part of the dual sport game, trust me,i do it all the time.
your ability to shake it off, have a laugh and get back on the bike is what it is all about.
p.s. it wont be your last tumble and as you progress your "form" will improve!
aquatic scored a perfect ten at the gs challenge,i have never seen a guy draw such a straight line in the dirt with his head!

Ja, that was a kodak moment of note!

For the rest of the day I had this vision of the Tenere bulleting across the Jukskei river and coming to a very abrupt halt on the far bank....as I'm typing this I'm giggling!! Sorry Dewald!

As said, it's amazing how much fun you can have with a bunch of guys you don't even know from a bar of soap. This type of thing brings out THE BEST in a person!

We ended up at Modderfontein Rd were the Gautrain bridge is being built.
But that was only after getting stuck in a muddy marsh in Edenvale and having to detour around a pissed off Rinkhals
