The fuel pump 2011 BMW F800GS was replaced under warranty and since then the bike would often cut out when I stop or decelerate to Idle speed and then pull in the clutch. When decelerating it would sometimes backfire continuously and sound like a machine gun. At times it would idle like this https://youtu.be/B5XnE86NIBA and not cut out This would go on until I rev it to the revlimiter and it would then be OK for a couple of Km's. BMW have changed the spark plugs and adjusted the tappet clearance but it had little or no effect. One of the issues was that they could not replicate the fault because they did not ride the bike but only let it idle for some time. Hopefully the video would solve that problem.
Have any of you experienced something similar and how was it fixed? The outside temperature does not have any effect on this problem as it happens on cold and rainy days as well as on hot days.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated
