From the veterans on the forum. What is the correct way of doing a long and very steep descend with a heavily laden big bike? Below is the method I used, is it correct for the situation?
I dont see another way of doing it, but it has been questioned in my RR and I myself will also like to know if there is an easier way.
Watch "Gydo pass viewpoint descent9.mp4" on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIjqb-ZgFLs&feature=youtube_gdata_player
This was near Ceres. I cut the engine and tried braking with my feet, engine braking on rear wheel and actually a lot of front brake as that wasnt enough. If you watch closely you will see how my rear wheel kept coming out. The last bit I just let go (remember engine was still dead)
Any inputs welcome
