Did a great trip White River to Hoedspruit with Just Blip It! , Kim and Saay. Mark’s plan was to do as much as possible offroad riding to get there. We spent a full day in the saddle  riding cattle tracks, river beds, sandy jeep track and wide open gravel roads.

As always, Just Blip It! plotted an amazing route and we had a rewarding day of riding.

We spent most of the day in the bush, looking for tracks around fences, rivers and obstructions.....

Sabi sands fence line. We stopped for a quick snack and checked in with our families.

Riding along the fence was a tricky affair, with off camber riding on loose, fine gravel  most of the way. Had a couple of groot skriks......

Next obstacle was the Sand river. We looked at several options to cross

We eventually decided on a spot where the locals were swimming and doing washing.

Saay was the first to cross and I followed, getting bogged down halfway through the crossing. It was a lot more difficult than Saay made it look.

Me trying to get through the last bit

Good, will follow this one to the end  :deal:

Kim was next up on the 690, decided on a different line and when things went wrong his short legs failed him.....[emoji15]

The crowd watching cheered him along and had a good laugh as the bike went under. We knew that we were going to get ourselves ready for some work to get Kim's bike going again.....
