If you own a KTM 950 or 990 you will know the noise i'm talking about, that kak rattle, clatter noise you hear for a couple of seconds after starting your bike (sounds like marbles in a tin can) 
Even KTM's superceeded & longer tensioner cover doesn't seem to sort out the problem.
The other day when visiting Wrench's workshop he heard the noise & asked if I wouldn't like to sort out this problem once & for all, to this I said "Ja right boet" to which he assured me that he has been doing this MOD to superbikes for years with similar problems & has had a 100% success rate.
Just fitted the new improved manual tensioner & on starting the bike no more noise. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
