I just bought a used '09 800 GS from a dealer. They fitted and balanced both the new tyres (Anakees) and I found the handling was crap. The handlebars "vibrated" at any speed, so much so that I could not let go of the bars. They very nicely replace the damaged front rim (as that was the cause) with a brand new one.
The vibration is now gone, but I find at around 140 is picks at a bit of weave / wobble / headshake that is a bit unsettling...........
The dealer says this is normal for a 21 inch wheel. Do I accept this or must I look for another cause.
Also, can someone please direct me a dedicated F800 thread (if there is such a thing).
