For some time now I became aware that my bike's motor runs irratic when hot, but quite smooth when cold. This led me to believe that the valve clearances might be a bit tight, so yesterday afternoon I stripped her to see what is going on. Valve clearances on most were below min spec and this is where the problem lies. I can get most of the shim sizes required from BMW, but they dont have stock of the 5,0mm spacers in SA. Anyone that has one lying around or know where else I can try?
