Ok dogs, i have a bit of a problem. I bought my 800 in November last year - 2008 model 5000km on the clock and spotless. The guy never rode the bike and took very good care of it. The head gasket was replaced as a recall under warranty at 3000km.

I now need to take the bike in for its 10000km service and have noticed the bike is sweating quite a bit of oil from the head gasket. Is it reasonable for me to ask BMW to fix this on their own cost as this was a recall and is still not sorted even though the bike is out of warranty (the bike has been serviced 4 times before 10000km - yearly services). Or should i fork out the cashish?

It just doesn't feel right to pay for the head gasket as this bike only has 10000km (should not even be thinking of leaking oil) on it and going for its second head gasket replacement. Seems like a proper farkup on their behalf. What do you think?

Thanks
