Hi, does anyone have secondhand KLR650 parts (old model), or even new for reasonable price? Rear brakes: The 'brass' pin that holds the rear brake lever vibrated out (with its coil spring).  :-[ Front brakes: disc is a bit bent, and quite worn now.  :-\ Also looking  for a smaller front...

Yeah but I really dig the Quest :biggrin:, and my rig and all is set up for it.  And yeah, Avnic were very fair and give a good price. :) Nuvi has poor battery life  :( (but you can take spares so it's ok), no AC adapter included, can't set your stats and views (distance to dest. etc) up as on...

Thanks, I saw some of the posts and note that Eagle has a good looking option, but ex a shop in CT. I seem to have the specs right as my first trial is functioning ok. If crash bars aren't designed to suit the bracket and lever in the standard position then everyone will have to make his own...

Have any other KLR riders snapped the aluminium rear brake bracket while falling/sliding the bike on the right hand side?  See picture... This renders the rear brake completely un-usable, making the bike a bit more unsafe to ride than when you departed.  The replacement has to be ordered from...
