I did a few rides with luggage and my wife and that was a bit higher fuel consumption around 15km/l if I remember correctly.
Hope your enjoying the monster :ricky:
I also have the clutch basket shake so to be kind I keep the revs above 4000 when riding and only do enthusiastic riding above 5000rpm.
Still going like a Boeing at 42000kms.
Ek weet dit is nou verewig na jou vraag maar ek wou maar net my ervaring van my DL1000 deel
Ek het my voorste vurke se preload afgedraai om meer grip voor te kry (in my opinie natuurlik) en toe begin my fiets lekker los voel na 160km/h met so los nekkie...
Die sagte preload het heerlik gewerk...
Hi Edd, what did you do for indicators?
I had a fallover in the garage onto crashbars but alas left front indicator housing cracked and clutch lever damaged.
With all the accessory shops I knew closed I wonder who one should call in Jhb - advice would be appreciated.
:)
He he he, we shouldn't highlight the value too much, so we can very affordably replace with another at some time :pot:
Glad you still riding your Suzie - trouble free Japanese kms :ricky:
Whole lot of bike for the bucks :-)
Got a mint 2009 DL1000 for 45k a few years ago with less than 20 000kms on.
Soul mate that one.. She purrs and growls and just keeps going.
Don't think I'd get much if I sold her though
2010 Honda Transalp XLV700 for sale
Odo: 77000km
Tyre front: Mitas E07 - close to replacement
Tyre rear: Michelin Anakee 3 - 80%
Sprokets & chain about 4000km old
Bike was used for long commutes, engine is solid.
Looks: the bike has had a bit of sun in it's life and cosmetically isn't going...
