A Strong Back: The Adventures of Tom Mc Sherry

Chris, from what I've seen most of that land gets used for cattle and/or sheep and/or food for them. Many hobby farms around here do the horse thing too. Further south, they do the wine thing; same climate as the Western Cape. Apologies...

A Strong Back: The Adventures of Tom Mc Sherry

Same can be said for pretty much anything that needs to contact ground level: rakes, mops, brooms etc. I myself glued a nice long broomstick to our shopvac's head and first section of rigid pipe so I can use the thing standing upright. If it looks stupid, but it works; it's not stupid!

    KLR650C Rear Shock Adjustment ?

So just: clean it, lube it, crank it? I'm assuming if I take the weight off the back wheel it will make my life a little easier? (Provided, of course, the bike doesn't fall off the stand as I'm cranking...)

    KLR650C Rear Shock Adjustment ?

Long story short: I'm heavier than the previous owner of my 1997 KLR 650 C and want to max out the preload on the rear shock. Measured the sag yesterday at 84mm when it should be 60-66mm (depending on if you use 30% or 1/3rd of the 200mm total travel). Is there anything I should know (tips...

Ek...

    Ook maar LEKKER stupid...

3 years ago I left PTA and moved a couple of hours south of Perthtoria. Then, about a year ago, I finally bought by very first vroom-vroom: a 1997 KLR650-C. Got my License in March this year.
