First of All....this is NOT intended to question the wearing of any protective gear at ALL, please understand that.
1) Helmet.....pretty obvious. No discussion necessary.
2) Boots, even half boots.....same.
But :
3) Pants....just how much DO they protect you, say, in a fall on a gravel road at 60/70 km/h?
4) And then (SPECIFICALLY).....a Jacket?
Does a jacket REALLY protect the Upper Body?
5) Gloves I can also understand 100%
But a Jacket.....??
Once again, I'm NOT advocating or questioning the use of protective wear at all here.
Just need to be educated, perhaps, especially regarding Jackets.
