Good day all, I know that this is an age old debate but would some input based on actual experience please.
I am considering tyres with better offroad traction than the stock Karoo 4's on a 900gs. I want to achieve better offroad performance and do not mind sacrificing on road performance....no issue for me to modify my speed on the tar sections.
From all of the research I have narrowed it down to two choices
TKC80 & Pirelli Rally (not STR)- 90/90 R21 and 150/70/17 both TL - both are pricey with a 10% price difference between them.
I previously ran TKC 80's on a 990 adventure and was happy wih the offroad and onroad grip(I accepted up the longevity or lack thereof) - these were not too bad on wet tar
Would appreciate any inputs on the Pirelli please.
