We have a quick colddrink in Geluksburg and then make our way towards the infamous Bezuidenhouts Pass.
I’ve done Bezuidenhouts up and down in the past, most notable on my HP2 at a GS Trophy event when a farmer graded the pass just before the event and turned the Black route into a Green route….

Both times were easy but having seen recent YouTube uploads from
@Hollywood and Sunset Tribe, I thought we might be in for a challenge. A fellow rider told Mark that he did it fairly recently and it was an easy ride.

We approach the pass oblivious to the weather system moving in.
We arrive at the bottom of the pass and it looks like a gravel highway.
First signs of trouble are the huge mud puddles behind every speed/drainage hump.
I become a victim of Mark’s full throttle exit from one of these muddy pools……
