Last time I was on a gravel road I was topping out at about 30 - 40 kph  :ricky:, so I don't think engine size will be too much of a factor for me at least  :thumleft:

I have the 150/70 on my F650GS and haven't noticed any difference in handling. If anything the wider tyre should provide some more traction,  but a bit more rolling resistance? i.e. acceleration would be affected slightly (not something you'd notice though) Also price might be a bit higher as...

I must admit that although it worked, the concept of pushing the handlebar in the 'opposite' direction felt unnatural to me. I then came across the below youtube clip which explains it slightly differently – instead of pushing the handlebar away from you, push it down in the direction you want...
