Another irresponsible biker with a kid on the bike to bitch about

I don't normally comment on the "debate"threads but having had 3 children killed recently in a head on collision involving 2 cars in Hartbeespoort, I think all parents who recklessly endanger their children by letting them stand between the front seat, sit on Mommy's lap or ride in the back of a...

    Puzey motorbikes - thoughts?

Mike Puzey is the owner of the brand, if I remember correctly he is an aircraft designer by trade. He finds bikes he likes in China, makes the changes as e requires to the design and gets them manufactured to his specifications in China. Take a trip to Puzey in Randburg and speak to Mike about...

Withdrawn- For Sale - 1983 Honda CB1100F Project Bike

And I have also found out that it is a USA model with the fairing as the European one had a round light with no fairing. I also love the 80s Honda's as the last one I had in the UK was the CBX

Withdrawn- For Sale - 1983 Honda CB1100F Project Bike

Subie, not trying to be defensive, just as factual as possible. I was not in RSA in 1983, but still in the UK and cannot recall seeing one there, but plenty of 900F's? I do not know if the owner is talking k@k or not, so if anyone knows better I am all ears :deal:

Withdrawn- For Sale - 1983 Honda CB1100F Project Bike

Although the resemblance to the CB750-900F's is obvious, the owner told me that only 300 were brought to SA, that is why I said "apparently" I have no reference to this as fact.

If I had the time, knowledge and space, I'd be very tempted myself.

Withdrawn- For Sale - 1983 Honda CB1100F Project Bike

Selling for some one else who has moved to a smaller property and has no space. (Now found out the person selling the bike does not have the papers and there is a divorce involved, say no more) There were only 4050 made worldwide and apparently only 300 brought into South Africa. This would...

A beginner's guide to riding in France

Out of curiosity, what was the price of the fish & chips? Last time I was in the UK in 1996 we paid about 5 quid and it was about 1 quid 20 in 1985!!!

A nice campaign for cagers in the UK!

I don't know what the situation is like in the UK at the moment, as I left in 1985,but the majority of road users were very considerate and polite drivers. Schools instilled a sense of road usage with the Tuffty club, which taught you how to cross a road correctly the NCPA, which gave...

Soeking advice please? HiD's have a mind of their own!!!

I had exactly the same problem with the HID's I installed in my 2008 GSA. After about 3 weeks of checking every connection, wire, nut and bolt, it turns out that the globe was upside down. I know it sounds stupid (I am at times) but after turning it around it never failed to start first time?

Auxiliary wire for my heated grips

Sounds like all is right, I would not cut the harness but rather strip some insulation and solder the connection to the exposed wire.
