Tap your spokes with a screwdriver and listen to the sound they make the higher the tone, the tighter the spoke is. How would that one specific spoke have become overtightened? Have they been adjusted or have you just clipped a rock and made a slight dent?

That is how I learnt to ride bikes in the UK, was about 12 when I got my first Gileira 50c, then moved to a DT175 with oversized read sprocket, then got a Yammie TY250. Really great safe fun.
