My last ride was a solo 480Km trip on Saturday, Ceres - Wuppertal - Biedouwvallei - and back again with the R355. I made a little video of the eroded road out of the valley which I'll post here once it's edited.

Yes. I also have ideas to strengthen my dollie, to make sure its up for such a long trip, and I won't be using the same tyre for the ride back down.

Is it possible to charge my bike battery through the 12v cigarette lighter plug which is directly connected to the battery poles? Everytime I have to charge the battery I have to go through the schlep of removing the side covers, seat and rack to access the battery.

Doubt if the carb is the cause of the idle not returning immediately, probably caused by the throttle return cable, my DRZ does the same thing.
