Hi All, just a query on the cost of insurance.... I asked for a quote from my regular insurer for a new KTM990 with about R20k kit and the quote is R1080.  Is this about right or a bit high?  What should it be? Thanks

Unfortunately it is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it...willing buyer/willing seller.

Had a discussion with someone today, and they said the same thing - Z is perfect!  Then they ruined the friendship and said that the KTM 990 was unsuitable for a long ride! :dousing: But if we stay with the Z I will be happy.

Pretty much my thinking too.  But getting going with the smaller 660 makes good sense while i get the hang of things again.  Then we can really get going...
