Hi All,
So here is how it goes...
I rode bikes and played in the dirt years ago. Now I am rekindling the fire and really getting keen as I am an adventure rider through and through.
The weapon of choice is the KTM 990 because I will use the bike for commuting as well. Back roads to my Woodmead office from Muldersdrift, and the freeway to Vanderbijlpark office. But then tolls are covered by the company.
However, my wife says "one for you, one for me...". At the last bike show she showed me a picture of a tour through Zambia and said she was keen. Awesome, we will ride together as we do with our horses.
So, weapon of choice downgraded to Tenere for now, which she will get to ride and then the KTM will be resurrected. But, busy with the thinking and investigation phase for now, and that is how I came across the forum. Loving the reading and also the 2nd hand bikes...
