My apologies, I think my first post was confusing.  The section between Mokhotlong and Sani Top I will be doing on my second trip in a 4x4 Fortuner.  This weekend I just want to go to Katse Dam, which is tarred the entire way.

I agree with you.  I have never honestly heard of anyone doing this before, but I read that people have done it in other posts.  I thought I'd at least try, but I understand if it doesn't work out.

Thanks Strompie.  Their prices pretty decent for what it's worth.  I put in a quote with them.  I would still like to try to rent from an actual person if possible (assuming anyone is reading this).
