I'm sure "Smokes" made them.He did a good job ,they bolted straight on.

I took the socks off as I jetted for the coast and at altitude it breathed better without the socks.I think the shorter stack were flared at the end.Maybe you can flare yrs with a hot air gun

"********???" I never took my tank off to clean my air filter . Straatkat without re reading old threads ,do you have a Safari or std tank.I never tried changing mine with the std tank in place.

Lately I have been thinking along similar lines.Its not what you ride ,but how much enjoyment you get from it.I would like to get back to basics and simplify everything .

I have one on the 1190 and it is holding up.Not my favorite tyre but it does the job.Maybe he damaged it on something.

True 4x4 or Softroader??? My take on it is that it is up to you as how you set the bike up and use it.Firstly compare apples with apples.It is a 1000 cc road /gravel travel bike.Not some 450/650 class ,off-road bike. I will probably not hurl it at tech sections as I did with my Super Enduro.I...
