I have read several horror stories here on the WD's about guys buying stuff for their bikes, or accessories, from the USA, and then waiting months for it to arrive. (yes, it also happens from Europe and the UK)

The way I see it, most vendors in the US will ship via the US postal service. All goes well until it hits SA shores and the SA post office gets their grubby paws on it. Then it goes directly into the SA version of the "Bermuda Triangle"...

So, I'm emigrating to the US in 2 months. I have a suggestion...

When I'm there, I'll make my home address available, for the free shipping most vendors supply, within the US. Send your stuff there, and then I'll forward it via a Courier Service. I'll make sure that the packaging is good to survive the trip without destroying the contents, and I'll make sure that the correct Customs Code (the one for bike parts that doesn't attract import duties) is clearly displayed. All for a small "handling fee".

Anyone on here that would consider making use of such a "service"?
