We have been riding in the Richtersveld for many years on adv bikes but never on the plastics. So this time we took the 500's and went on a 5 day recce ride. The idea was to hunt for undiscovered and interesting (I call them "jewels") tracks and paths and boy did we find the most amazing riding...

Since we can't ride in Lesotho anymore I had to look for new playground and boy did I find the most amazing terrain between Fouriesburg and Clarence. We got together on Friday afternoon at 13h00 and I took the guys on a great 45km introduction trip in the mountains. Saturday was the great day...

@Amsterdam,  it is different from border to border. The bigger the border post the more the rules. It also depends from officer to officer, seems like they change the rules from day to day, no consistency. If I were you I would go and see what they say, you might just get lucky.

Yip Mokhotlong and then 20km north you will also get fuel in Mapholaneng. If you turn west onto the village chief road your next fuel and overnight stop will be at Thaba Theka. Just a note: Lesotho is closed for tourism at this stage. Sani is the only place where you will be able to enter...
