Lowflya,  here is my suggested tracks for you. Day 1 Golden Gate to Sani and Himeville via Monantsa pass 300km. Day 2 Himeville via Lower Loteni and Bergville to Harrismith 253km. I have attached the gpx files for you to download:

Lowflya,  it is a stunning pass and relatively short. The highlight are the 10x switchbacks at the top (picture). That section is less than 2km in length. We usually ride that top section 2 or 3 times, up and down just because it is so scenic and a lot of fun. If the pass is dry it is a breeze...

All open roads with no permission needed. The section between Tiffendell and Tenahead (TT traverse) is a 2 spoor with 2 or 3 gates. I have read on social media that some say this section is technical but I have taken novices on big bikes thru with no problem at all. It is one of the highlights...

Koet,  as daar nogsteeds 'n Lockdown of enige ander situasie is wat die trip onmoontlik maak word jou geld terug betaal. Ek het oor die jare baie goeie verhoudings met die gaste huise opgebou en hulle behandel my altyd regverdig. Ek het 'n deposito van R2000 nou nodig en die verskil nie later...
