I bought a 500 and needed to give it a run in. JonW  offered to take me on a ride. I cant believe how this bike can climb hills. Don't ask me for the area because we went up and down so many hills i lost count of where we were. It was outside Richmond  KZN

Yes. I have a 790R and found I use the 790R for gravel roads and the 701 to heavy for technical. So am buying a 500. I have put huge money into this 701. But that's what I tend to do with my bikes.

I am sure you correct.  I use EPDM on the 701 which uses brake fluid in the clutch.
