    A TT500, a CRF300L and 43 years that separate them

Yeah - I am very 2-minded here.... At one point I wanted to go this route - with 3 tanks and a raised filter-box between the tanks (think KTM style) and a U-tube intake for the crabs - but building the tank in Aku was going to make it a bit pricey....

Body armour - check out Marketplace for Thor armour - no, its not the R9k Alpinestars, but it will certainly help in a fall. You can get a well-priced Leatt for around R3500 if you look around. Same with Knee/shin Guards - Thor make a good range, well priced.... Shirts & Pants? Marketplace...

Kempton Park to Middelburg MP - Gravel

Ja - its a lekker ride - very open dirt - good for the head, but not technical until it rains.... Just east of Loskop dam on the N11, as it turns south, hook a left past Net Liefde, at the T-junction turn right - it follows the Selons River (Selons River Road) - if you follow it south & then...

Sorted! 2003 F650GS Fuel Pump help needed

Injectors could well be blocked - i disconnected them at the bolts, while still connected to the power - cranked a couple of times to see the spray pattern - fine mist is fine - anything else requires cleaning or replacing.

    KTM/HUSKY 350

Interested to know thoughts - I am going to be looking for a 500 or a 350 in the next while - Northern Namibia - and while I would like a 500, I am not sure I need one.... I am no enduro star, and at a spritely 55yo means I may have slowed down some, so a 350 might be a better bet....

When was KTM first in South Africa officially and what models were on offer?

Mid 2000's, my then boss wanted 2 x 640 Adventures for him and his wife, they were not bought into SA at the time - I believe he was dealing with Butch Hirsch then? In the end he bought 2 in Austria, from KTM direct, and shipped them SKD to Jhb, and I spent a weekend assembling them for him -...
