i bought a 690sm, but wish i had bought the carb version 950sm from ktm, i tested one but didn't have the balls to buy it, thinking that maintenance was an issue ,have since learned that's its no big deal. in fact a little 450 moto cross bike is going to need more servicing.

i agree, defo no ktm 990 for you, so go have a look at the 950sm and fall in love, its a buyers market out there.at 120kg you would be way to cramped on a mx bike.
