Anybody know if the Twister’s shock is rebuildable or is it likely going to be more economical to simply replace?

    Need help with TRX 250.

Dis...

    Honda 650L csse repair

Nice. During the Amageza rally days we used carry a selection of coins in the Pratley Steel box. If you punched a hole in the case, just wipe the oil, fit the next size up coin over the hole and Pratley steel over the coin. 20min repair, as long as you did not loose too much oil🤣

    Splitting a cam chain

This is how you replace the cam chain on a KTM 525. There is a factory tool for the crimping. Chain comes with a master link like a chain, its not continuous. Bit of an undertaking.

    Black or Gold rims?

Black shows scratches much easier and the finish is normally softer than the gold, which is anodised rather than painted. Both can be touched up with a felt pen, but the black could be easier to match and the Koki will be cheaper

    Speedometer packed up.

    The right oil?

Its in general the 0w30s and below that contain friction modifiers. Since the Castrol 5w40 is good for diesels as well, I think it would be fine from a clutch perspective. I would not run ot though, it is a simple matter to drain it and refill. At the very least it will be noisy when hot.
