Honda 650L csse repair

So today I was teaching my nephew how to ride and during one of the many low speed drops the gear lever penetrated the case resulting in an oil leak. I need to get this fixed asap as the laaitie is keen to carry on lessons, any recomendations from the hive mind? Can it be welded up, and second hand spares available? Or is it off to honda for a no lube shag?
