Don't know if it is gnarly enough for you, but Ruitersvlei and Diamant enduro tracks on the Old Paarl road have some rocky climbs. At least for the 690 it will be challenging.

Is it the original fuel pump and what mileage is the bike on? If you have the original fuel pump, order a Facet 40171(if I remember right) the original is only good for about 30 000km There is a temporary fix on the original pump where you put a shim/spacer under the "point".
