My neighbour is selling the bike to contribute towards buying a bakkie. He says he will come back to those who made offers as soon as he's found a suitable bakkie. I'll keep you posted.

Posting on behalf of my neighbour. He parks his bike in my garage, I might as well do the ad as well (yes, he knows I'm selling it  :ricky:) Stock standard 2014 DR650 with 8000 km on the clock. Used to be his dad's bike. My neighbour used it for occasional commuting, the bike doesn't look like...

I guess your only option is to take some Vaseline to BMW...  :P

Ja, moes eers net die agterband vervang, was n deurgeloopde road tyre. Het vervang met Mitas E07, is nou deur roadworthy. Volgende maand doen ek chain/sprockets, en daarna iewers vorentoe die voorste band  :thumleft:

Nee man, julle verstaan nie, daai's ek met my nuwe F800GS, reeds gekoop, reeds grondpad geslat! Wel "nuut" vir my... 2009 model met 60,000 km. Puik toestand, het meestal net teerpad gesien... tot nou  :ricky:

I'm not an industry expert, but have LOTS of trial-and-error and Google experience in fixing plastics  ;D Yes, polyethylene/polypropylene cannot be glued. If it's an airbox and looks shiny/feels waxy then my guess is it's polypropylene (see article here on differences between the two). The...
