Keihin CVK 34, the Jet needle (8) and Needle jet holder (9) got damaged with an over eager beaver. :eek7:

I have a Dakar and did about 77k km on it since 2016 (edit) till July 2019, daily commute of 80 odd km's. ABS and heated grips is the two things that stands out.
Issues had over that time other than normal services:
1) Rear shock leaked and was serviced
2) Dash lightbulbs had to be replaced
3)...
Forgot to mention, I used a scouring pad as wel to get the blueing off, very gently as not to create deep and unsightly scratches.

- Topbox wat gespray is aanmekaar sit,

I found it is dependent on the inspection officer. My sons KLE500 they checked specifically for it. My Dakar they same facility did not check it. Play it safe and have them on the bike even if you borrow it and return after the test.
