As Bebob said, scan tool makes it easy to test without fitting. I programmed the sensors and then took it for fitment. Chinese quality can sometimes leave you out if pocket. I'm also playing around with fixing old sensors by replacing the batteries. Scantool simplify the process. Bought it on...

Update: The UniCarScan unit arrived. Service reset done and two new TPMS units paired. The activation tool makes this sooooo easy. Longest wait was the sensors bought on Aliexpress. SA postoffice had it fir a month before sending me the collection slip.... Now to have the new sensors installed.

I bought the UniCarScan online from the German webstore. The mx+ is more expensive and was not available at time of shopping.

Hi FW, I have found the model can not take long commands such as to reset the service data in the display module, see post below for the screenshot of error. Reading up a bit it seems it is not a genuine EL327 unit. For basics is okay but not the full deal.

Serviced my bike today. The Konnwei is not capable of doing service reset. See attached error. Will edit the first post to reflect as such.

Manx'er I'm not a fan of Crapples....Android is my go tech of choice. The round OBD2 plug is till 2016 according to my research. The cable is readily available, shop around for a good price.

I'm a novice to this and would like to compare the different coding options. Thus far I can confirm the Service light can be reset and the TPMS units can be programmed. It seems possible to cycle the ABS pump and such. Do you have a specific item/s that I can check?
