I have found a more cost effective solution to the high budget units out there. The setup currently:
The APP covers the following BMW series: C-, F-,G-, K-, R-,S- and Husqvarna. The R-series covers a lot of models from the K25 through K30, K50- through K54, 259C- and 259- and many more including the various RnineT's.
For my '15 model the OBD2 cable is required to connect the round 10-pin BMW connector to the Konnwei unit.
The service light can be reset and TPMS/RDC can be programmed, my immediate requirements. There is much more to the app and I will update as I go along.
Already cleared some historic errors.
Take note the cheap EL327 units are very poor clones and I wasted some beer money on a very cheep unit. I bought a Carly unit for over R1800-00 and it is locked-in on the Carly app only. It is up for sale.......
If you are in the Pretoria area and would like to check it out on your bike before you pull the trigger we can talk over a few cold ones.
