Hi I need some advise. My dakar is unstable at speeds above 125kmh. I have done the following. Change the headset bearings , new front rim and new tire. Its unstable if the wheel is balanced or unbalanced. Any suggestions what the possible problem could be?

:biggrin:I got my bigbag today and I like it and it fits well on the dakar. So simple to attach, only 4 clips.

Nice trip but water level could be high. I went to the couga dam last weekend and it was overflowing nice. The kloof was reopened this week. My worry would be smitskraal. If I have my front wheel back from the rebuilder next weekend I will make a turn in the kloof and report of the water level...

Hi. Anyone knows were I can find a top box base plate adapter for my 03 dakar? I can build my own top box but I need the adapter that attached it to the frame as the 03 dakar does not have place to fit a normal box. Regards

Those 250's are lekker bikes. I had one and did nearly 18000km with it, and i loved it. Yes you can fit a top box but a bracket need to be made. Fuel wise it will average 25 to 28km/l. Top speed is a tad past the 140km region. I really enjoyed mine and can recommend the cbx 250 higly. good luck...
