KZN - Back to the saddle ride - Ndwedwe -> Harburg

Another fantastic Gunda ride with understated marketing :) Thats 2 in a row now that have turned out to be way more of an adventure than the original planning thread revealed. That was a really great ride with great company. The pace was perfect and I just regret that I never took my camera...

XT660Z Tenere - How much do you weigh and what are your preload settings?

Yip, quite correct, but even with my fat ass I've never managed to bottom it out. I'm not sure how much further up the swingarm is from stock but the total height difference when seated is just over 1/2 an inch.

XT660Z Tenere - How much do you weigh and what are your preload settings?

92Kgs without my gear on. Both front and rear at MAX preload. 17 turns in on the front I think and all the clicks on the rear... I commute with the bike every day so I prefer the more stiffer more nimble feel. (oh, have lowered the bike 16mm on the front and changed to 135mm rear links)

660 Tenere licensed to carry only 1 person!?!?

I did my BigBoy scooter last month and the license fee was exactly the same amount as the Tenere. maybe moaning about the weight of the Tenere is a bad idea, we may have to pay more instead of less ;)

I'm also interested in a lowering kit for the Z. I looked around online and found that Metal Mule have a lowering kit but it would be awesome if one of our forum vendors could look into sourcing them for us. Link here https://www.metalmule.com/suspension/suspension-lowering-kit/

KZN - Not quite such a laid back ride Nungwane/Ngilanyoni/Ufudu

Hehe, those Mitas tyres sure do have some grip on "brothel creepers", I was stuck firmly until your foot provided me with some extra purchase over the rocks ;) On that note, That rear C02 is finally at end of life after close to 5000Kms. I would say that's pretty darn good for a very reasonably...
