Dogs,
I have checked two other Tenere's and all, including mine I just got, are only licensed to carry 1 person... What the heck!? The KLR, my friends 1991 XT750Z and most bikes over 125cc (I think!?) are licensed to carry 2.
I asked the Yam agent in Vereeniging and they've never realised/seen this. My wife just had the bike registered and licensed on my name this morning and they wanted to know nothing about changing it to two persons (I even ticked the "Carry passengers" box). It was licensed on Yamaha SA's name (demo bike) before. Didn't need to do roadworthy now again-wonder if it could've been changed then?
The bike's Tare also looks suspect on the papers-135kg. Isn't that supposed to be the vehicle's bare weight?? Dis mos verkeerd!?!?
Ek dink iemand het iewers drooggemaak
So dis onwettig om te pillion op die Tenere!?!?!?! What does your license disc say??
