I'm asking this as I really want to know if there is a huge difference in tyre wear of knobblies on tar, than on gravel? I mostly do gravel, plaaspaaie, grondpad travel on daytrips (about 240km of which 85% is on gravel) in my area, but there are times where I want to travel further to adjacent...

Is it just my arse?...or is it the seat of the 2015 Versys 1000 that is not good enough? After an hour and a half it becomes unbearable and a break MUST be taken for at least half an hour...and thereafter every hour another break. That all makes for slow progress on a long trip... Does anybody...
