Serfie
Race Dog
Should I proceed with this straight swop...or just hold on to my KLR. The Tenere belongs to a good friend of mine who have spent an enormous amount of money on this bike, and now after 18 months he is complaining that the bike is too heavy for him.
As can be seen from the pics, it has 47 odd thousand tar road kilometres on the clock, he has done a new (Tenere theme) custom paint job and fitted the following: new wheel spokes,
new wheel bearings,
new brake discs and pads,
new chain and sprockets,
new fuel pump,
crash bars,
windscreen deflector,
yellow head light protectors,
enlarged foot pegs and brake pedal,
new Pirelli tyres,
handle bar raisers,
rear luggage carrier,
and powder coated the sump guard, the rims and the rear foot peg mounts.
