Hi, I have a hairline crack next to the steel drainage pipe on the seat end of my tank causing a fuel leak. Any suggestions on a permanent repair without messing the paint too much. Applied some steel epoxy today, not sure if or how long this will last. Also possible replacement, maybe lucky...

Thanks everybody. Just an update - Removed the carb again, stripped and cleaned.Set the screw to 1 3/4 turn. Bike was running perfect for about the first 20 minutes. Problem still not gone, now idling is an issue again. Very high at start-up (no choke) and perfect when hot?? Maybe time for...

None that i can see. One more thing to mention, sometimes just after starting the idling shoots up high without even having the choke open.

Hi, Yes is stripped the whole thing down. Even got a toothbrush involved :-) Main Jet, Bleed holes. Maybe one thing..it set the mixture screw to 2 turns (read it somewhere).
