the peak noise is more like a wind noise - it has huge vents in it -- so it doesnt buffet much... its more a whoosh steady noise as the wind goes through the vents. i prefer that to ones buffeting ... its remarkably steady at speed due to the vents I would think.

Bought a Desert Fox. Impressed so far. Peak makes a bit of noise, but is very stable up to tested 160. No fogging up at all. Not even with buff over my nose.. first helmet ever. So far so good Will try it in road helmet mode soon. Without peak. Must first figure out how to remove peak

was thinking - do one get one of these with 18650 removable batteries which can serve as charger and battery bank too?

Anyone who can help --- is there a dedicated (on board - use when touring) toolkit for the older 2006-1010 r1200GS bikes, something with the necessary torx, allen sockets etc made for a GS. Bummer to make these toolkits up oneself or to buy unnecessarily stuff that take up too much space...
