I'm tall; it gives an extra 1cm . . . Seriously; it keeps me dry in the rain; I'm using my bike to commute. And it keeps me cool and dry in the heat; i.e. no sweating. I only have it on the front part of the 1250 adv seat. It will be difficult to fit both the front and back seats; me think.

I struggled to change the gears on the 1250 ADV; and then I found the culprit. The teat that I need to use to lower the side stand is keeping me from getting my foot/shoe into/under the gear shifter. I'm quite tall; I assume the angle that my shoe is sitting on the foot peg is different from...
