Yip I did change he hoses in the tank... I did ask for hoses that could be submerged...but to be honest I wouldnt know the difference if the oke gave me the wrong type,will check them for swelling and damage also. New filter and fuel pump were done also.

Not replaced, but have swopped sides and then the "dead" one works, and she's red...the faster colour.

Thanks, Ive been reading through the link ChrisL posted also, plenty worth knowing there....Im going to test fuel pressure at both cylinders first, seems a possibility that I could have a blockage, after that a careful examination again for air leaks and loose bits and bobs of a cable and pulley...

This I'm going to try, just because it looks the same doesn't mean it is.... And I have had the fuel system apart about 500 km before she went all iffy on me.

I  was thinking along those lines but the spray from both injectors looks identical and the mechanic said he switched them around and the dead cylinder didn't switch with them. If it comes down to it they will be on my replace parts and hope it works list.

She starts, will only run on one cylinder, but if you spray quick start into the throttle body it burps back into life....  I'm seriously at a loss.

I think the response to this would of been vastly different if it had been someones wife or daughter that had been assaulted. The law needs to apply equally to all , if you wouldn't want it done to your family (male or female) members, it shouldn't be done to anyone.
